Before I begin, let me start off by saying that I am a fan of muscular women.  Don't know or remember when that started, but I am.  If you already know that, then forget what I said.

Anyway, here's a little piece called: "Muscle Women: Where's the love?"

Why don't more people love muscle women?  What is it about not having a stick-figuresque body that drives people away?  Muscles can be sexy too.  If muscular men can attract women, why not vice versa?  I'm going to explore the possible reasons for people not wanting to have anything to do with muscular women.

1. Muscle women want to make men their sex slaves and/or kill them.

Sure, some of them maybe...and maybe there are some S&M people who like that kinda stuff.  But not ALL of them.  I bet some guys on the internet saw some pics from Kinsyo(a muscle artist from Japan) or read some web fiction about muscle women who like to kill men.  That may be where this conclusion came from.  But to set the record straight, if a muscle woman kills a guy on purpose during sex in the REAL world, that would be murder, punishable by death or life in prison.  Even if that's a fantasy for some, that's one fantasy I don't wanna be in.  None for me, thanks. I'm driving.  I hate when gore is associated with muscle women. I'm sure many other people agree with me too. Although...what with all the abusive relationships women die from, it could be women's way of getting revenge.  COULD BE, not IS.

2. If any man loves muscle women, they're "that way"...GAY, OK?!?! I said the word "gay".  Now I feel dirty.

I have no idea where this came from. Seriously.  Apparently some people think muscle women look like men with breasts. What the Firetruck? They also think that since they have muscles, they ARE men with breasts.  (Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....)  Men are also the stereotypically aggressive sex and women are supposed to be submissive. Somehow, people think if women gain ANY muscle mass, they'll automatically become aggressive. This is linked to the first reason why people don't like muscle women, but it's still close-minded...Like I said, I don't understand where that comes from.  So you can take what I said with a grain of salt or whatever.

3. Apparently if they're not Kate Moss, Paris Hilton, or any other supermodelish superstar like Jessica Simpson, they're not beautiful.

COMPLETE UTTER B.S.! Anorexia, bulimia, and other eating disorders are not beautiful. The media is full of lies on that one. In fact, people actually DIED from that crap.  In fact, Karen Carpenter of the musical group The Carpenters died from Anorexia.  Now with muscle women, you wouldn't have this kinda problem.  At least they don't exercise until they drop dead.  At least not the non-obsessive ones. So, blame the media.

On a final note, not all muscle women take steroids.  If they were caught, they'd be disqualified from FBB competitions or even arrested. Plus steroids would ruin your life.  It almost ruined former wrestler Joanie Laurer's life.  Joanie Laurer, for those people who are not in the know, was also known as Chyna in the WWF/WWE.  Plus steroids kill people.

I just don't want any more stereotypes of muscle women to spread around. I want muscle women and regular men to coexist peacefully.  But you know that'll never happen, so at least there's DA and amaz0ns.com and our imaginations.

I just came across this piece--well done! I've been thinking about these issues working on my comic which features and "ordinary woman" who gets big and muscley and super strong--but NOT aggressive. The character will face relationship issues with her boyfriend, her body, society... Anyway, I'm really glad to find this--thanks!
